Ikeja, Lagos State
In a bid to support education and empower the next generation, the Omituntun Foundation has commenced the distribution of free Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to eligible students across the six wards of Ikeja Local Government Area.
This philanthropic gesture underscores the foundation’s long-standing commitment to community development and dedication to assisting the less privileged.
Recognizing the financial constraints that many families face, particularly when it comes to affording crucial educational resources like JAMB forms, Omisore’s foundation has stepped in to bridge the gap and provide opportunities for deserving students.
The initiative aims to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has the chance to pursue higher education. By removing the financial barrier of the JAMB form, the Omituntun Foundation is opening doors for students who might otherwise be unable to afford the application process. This act of generosity not only benefits the individual students but also contributes to the overall development of the community by fostering a more educated populace.
The head of the foundation, Abisola Omisore, a well-known figure in Ikeja for his philanthropic endeavors, has consistently championed education as a key driver of progress. He believes that investing in education is investing in the future, and this recent initiative is a tangible demonstration of that belief. Beyond simply providing the forms, the foundation hopes to inspire these students to strive for academic excellence and become future leaders.
In addition to this laudable initiative, Omisore has also encouraged students to explore and take advantage of the Federal Government’s Student Loan Scheme. He emphasized the importance of utilizing all available resources to pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals. By highlighting the student loan scheme, he empowers students with knowledge of additional financial aid options, further reinforcing his commitment to their educational journey.
The distribution of the free JAMB forms is being carried out across all six wards of Ikeja Local Government Area, ensuring that students from all corners of the community have equal access to this opportunity.
The Omituntun Foundation is working closely with local stakeholders to identify and reach eligible students, ensuring a transparent and equitable distribution process.
