Delivered at the Presentation of Nomination Form by Ikeja Progressive Youth

Protocol & Greetings:
My dear progressive youths of Ikeja, respected leaders, distinguished guests, members of the press, and all well-wishers present here today, I stand before you with immense gratitude and a heart full of humility.

Appreciation:
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest appreciation to the Ikeja Progressive Youth for this incredible gesture of purchasing the nomination form on my behalf. This is not just a form; it is a symbol of your belief in my vision, your trust in my capacity, and your commitment to the progress of Ikeja. I do not take this for granted.

Your support goes beyond politics—it is a testament to the power of collective ambition and the shared desire for a better Ikeja. You have shown that when the youth unite with purpose, great things happen. Today, you have not just endorsed a candidate; you have ignited a movement for transformative leadership.

I am compelled to express my deepest gratitude to Comrade Omotayo Aderinola for your remarkable demonstration of comradeship, exemplary sportsmanship, and selfless devotion to our shared political ideals, as encapsulated in the party’s constitution and the Nigerian Constitution, by choosing to step down from the position for which I am also competing, and placing your trust in my ability to usher in renewed hope and sustainable development for the people of Ikeja local government.

I warmly welcome others who are prepared to collaborate with us in propagating the Omituntun new era for Ikeja.

Commitment to Service:
I accept this nomination with a deep sense of responsibility. I understand the challenges facing our local government—infrastructure gaps, youth unemployment, inadequate healthcare, and the need for quality education. But I also see the opportunities—the vibrant energy of our youth, the resilience of our traders, the innovation of our entrepreneurs, and the determination of our elders to see Ikeja thrive.

I promise you this: If given the mandate, my administration will prioritize:
Youth Empowerment & Job Creation– Because the future belongs to those who prepare for it today.
Inclusive Governance– Where every community, market, and street has a voice.
Infrastructure & Sustainable Development– Because Ikeja deserves roads, healthcare, and facilities that match its status as the heartbeat of Lagos.
Security & Welfare– Ensuring that every resident feels safe and valued.

Call for Unity:
This journey is not about Abisola Omisore; it is about *all of us*. I urge every youth, every stakeholder, and every resident of Ikeja to join hands with me. Let us move beyond division and focus on the greater good. Together, we can build an Ikeja that works for everyone.
