Yesterday, the Vice Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area, Hon. Abisola Omisore, in the company of Ward Chairmen and other committed party stakeholders, attended the APC Ward meeting—an important strategic engagement aimed at strengthening grassroots electoral preparedness ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The meeting placed strong emphasis on the compulsory registration of eligible voters, as well as the retrieval and replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), recognizing these as critical steps in safeguarding citizens’ right to participate fully in the democratic process. Beyond mobilization, discussions also centered on voter education, coordination at ward level, and collective responsibility in ensuring no willing voter is disenfranchised.
United in purpose, participants reaffirmed their shared commitment to active civic engagement, party cohesion, and electoral readiness, underscoring the APC’s resolve to deepen democratic participation and deliver a well-organized, inclusive, and credible electoral process at the grassroots level.
